The Dollar Confirms, the Commodities Don't
PPI Holds Flat as the Board Splits Four Green, Four Yellow, Four Red and the Score Ticks Up to 19

TRADER'S BRIEF
July producer prices landed unchanged this morning, one more soft inflation read stacked on Thursday's numbers. The board didn't lean dovish on it: the dollar (UUP) confirmed GREEN anyway.
UUP closed Thursday at $28.18, 80.9% of the way up its 52-week range. The Supercycle Score ticked up to 19/100 ("Strong Headwind"), from 18 Wednesday.
The board split four-four-four for the first time on record: the Dollar, Soybeans, Nasdaq, and the S&P confirmed GREEN; Gold, Silver, Nat Gas, and Corn sat YELLOW; Copper, Crude Oil, Palladium, and Platinum confirmed RED.
Palladium was the sharpest mover, down 4.06%, its CCI collapsing from the 90s into the teens in a matter of sessions.
Crude confirmed RED even as Reuters reported Asian refiners buying more U.S. crude on continued Strait of Hormuz disruption, a case where the trend and the headline pointed in opposite directions.
