Supercycle Trader: Your Morning Edge on the Global Commodity Cycle
Wednesday, September 23, 2026 | Data through Tuesday's close, September 22, 2026
Trader's Brief: Tuesday was a quiet dollar day with a loud commodity board underneath it. UUP closed flat at $28.48, exactly where it sat Monday, holding the Supercycle Score at 6, Strong Headwind, one point from Ludicrous Headwind territory. But five of eleven non-dollar instruments confirmed GREEN anyway: natural gas ripped 5.85%, copper gained 1.87%, silver and platinum each added 1.84%, and gold edged up 0.42%. Crude oil kept falling, down 2.75% on top of Monday's 3.68% drop, and corn and palladium both confirmed RED. Soybeans sat YELLOW, unconfirmed. The Nasdaq gained 0.81% while the S&P 500 was flat at -0.02%. CFTC positioning data remains unavailable this cycle; that section stays degraded below rather than guessed at.
